Senior Citizen Drove New Corvette Convertible...

Just turning 65 years old and being revered as a "Senior Citizen" Jack bought a new Corvette Convertible to celebrate.
Upon making the acquisition he took of f  driving 80 mph, enjoying the scenery of nature as he motored down the Expressway. Amazing,!!! he thought to himself as he sped down 1-94 pushing the pedal to 95 mph. He looked in his rear view mirror and observed a State Trooper behind him with flashing lights and the siren blasting!!

HE PUT HIS FOOT TO THE PEDAL  UP TO 100 MPH, THEN 110MPH AND 120 MPH. Suddenly he thought, why am I doing this-this is insane, I'm too old for this sort of thing. So he pulled over and waited for the Trooper to approach him.

The Trooper pull in behind him, walked up to the Corvette, look at his watch and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes, Today is Friday, and, If you can give me one reason for speeding, that I've never heard before, I Will Let You Go!!. "
THE SENIOR GENTLEMAN, PAUSED FOR A MINUTE...THEN HE SAID...
"YOU KNOW OFFICER, YEARS AGO, MY WIFE RAN OFF WITH A STATE TROOPER,
AND I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT BE BRING HER BACK TO ME."

THE STATE TROOPER, SIMPLY REPLIED, YOU HAVE A NICE DAY AND HE WENT BACK ,GOT IN HIS VEHICLE, AND DROVE AWAY....(LOL) Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Haaaaaaa.....

Uplifting & Inspirational Utterances_Just Wanna Thank You....

We should not wait to call on God when we get in trouble, or just on special occasions. We must wanna thank him right now...! This is an anytime approach to be thankful and to commune with him in all that we do:
"Oh great, wise and just God, I wanna thank you right now! God, I just wanna thank you right now; for all that I am, and all that I am, yet to become;

I'm not gonna wait; until I understand every experience in my life; that cause me pain and long suffering; heart ache and  grief; I just wanna thank you, right now. When I'm in the dessert of the "valley of life"; in the midst of dilemma, doubt, and despair, but in spite of it all, I believe there is "good news" to which I say, "Hallelujah!", I just wanna take the time to thank you right now! I see your "Legion of Angels being dispatched, right now..to come as avenging covenant protectors, and I wanna thank you, right now! In your shroud of  sovereignty; I revere you as the provider of every need we may have to be met, for that I wanna thank you, right now!. The Holy of Holiest; I thank you, in the name of Jesus The Christ, I thank you!!!
Amen.....

The Benefits of "MEDITATION"

The question is often asked, "does meditation have any benefits, if so, can they be measurable in some way?. The answer is in the affirmative. The effectual practice of meditation can have powerful effects and positive impact on the human body, mind, and soul (spirit). There are stories and testimonies about tried and proven ways of how to 'let go, and let God' take control and have his way with us. Meaning, we must be completely resolved to "surrender all to him", his will, his ways, and the totality of all desires to him-our Creator.

In the process of undertaking such bold surrendering steps; realizing that you are giving into, the powerful mind-body healing dynamic. A trans formative dynamic, contrary to some belief, does not take a lot of  energy.

Because, of the DNA that is already inherit within the human body. There is a biblical passage in the Old Testament book of Genesis which reveals, paraphrasing; we are made in his image and after his likeness. One may consider this to be a 'genetic heritage' of sorts. For certain, it is part and parcel of one's Spiritual Dimension. The cause and effect is; when God created humankind; he made sure that we were equipped with the appropriate attributes and proper embodied ingredients. And we were configured to be a teachable creature, panoplies with the proclivity for empowerment suitable for work in the Kingdom of God.

Therefore, meditation can be viewed and/or considered to be an approach for a type of self-help initiative. Albeit, somewhat hold the propensity to produce and make manifest-changes that can be measured in the lives of human beings. In other words, when a person perhaps; by happenstance, take the opportunity to have a few sessions of meditation training. And immediate thereafter; pursue a visit to a research laboratory to practice meditation. And summarily during the research practice-have the results measured by the meditation instrument and/or apparatus. The could culminate into the following benefits:

>positive changes in breathing approach
>improvement in blood chemistry
>brain waves sensitivity and activity improvements
>positive response to stress: diminished /and or a better managed approach
>feelings and emotions of a sense of spiritual centering, and balance
>a dimensional groundedness of sorts
>peace of mind, inner peace, and a sense of contentment

All of the aforementioned, would be readily available to view and/or observed from the countenance of a person and from an instrumentation apparatus that meters or measured-as a monitoring tool. These are a few ways for a tried and proven analysis to be evaluated and recorded. which lends itself to significant recorded beneficial results that's measured in the practice of  the meditation process. In addition, some of the majors reasons of discovery, in the process of meditation are that; the methods of accomplishment is both "instinctive" and "natural"

All due in part, to when a person meditates-their "consciousness of thoughts" begins to access the body's own built-in ability to heal itself. This is largely done as the body tune itself to the action and process, instinctly righting; what is wrong with totality of the body metabolism.

These actions within the metabolism allows the body to enter a stage or a phase known as, "relaxation-response-based-intervention. An approach that has measured such results as:
A. diminished pain-causing reduced HMO or personal physician visits
B. higher percentages (up to 80.0%) of lowered blood pressure in hypertensive patients
C. underserved youths and young adults, experienced improved grades, increased work habits, a higher level of cooperation, and decreased school absences
D. open heart surgery patients had fewer post-operative complications
E. students, high school & college levels, experienced significant increased self-esteem

Thoughts for the Day

The blood of Jesus is not only, substantive, objective and cleansing for our sins, but the blood is also subjective for our sins as well. The blood of the lamb-its indeed, among all else, cleansing for all that ails us.
It is inherit in the incarnate: The Lord is Omnipotent>The Cross and the Blood bears major significance in the life of all of humanity.

Jesus did not; does not; nor will he come; to condemn, but to teach and correct...the correction-of-thoughts
>he orders our steps
>He directs our path
>he reveals our purpose
>he enhance, inspire and augment our passion

Ultimately, it is the steps unto our path that shall give impetus to see clearly beyond the horizon.
He exposes Satan-the Devil for who he is: It shows that Satan always loses-even when he thinks
he has won. It confirms that God is...the one who has translated the Kingdom of Darkness, into
the Kingdom of Light, and no one can stand against him, not even the devil. who once was one of his avenging angels, prior to falling from the presence of God. So, I say to you: "Be strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power", Put on the full armor God. (Ephesians 6:10-11)

>plants
>books to read, take up computer, travel: take a trip to Sedonia Az- a wonderful place for seniors
>or take up hobbies, or whatever it might be, remember, your home is your castle and your refuge

No matter, what else you may do-CHERISH YOUR HEALTH....
If its good; preserve it, if its unstable; improve it
If its beyond what you cannot improve; seek help (doctor, personal trainer, etc)
Always remember, 'life' is not "measured by the number of breaths" you take
but by the moments that take your breath away

and sincere gesture of agape love (that is God's inclusive love)
It is unconditional-with no strings attached...

8 Foods That will Diminish "Colds" and Minimize the 'Flu'

In order to stay healthy and fit we must practice a consistently healthier lifestyle. What with the winter season upon us-we need to take extra precautions. And for as long as the "cold weather" persists, Americans, and people of the nation, and the world, must adhere to; and pay close attention toward eating good habits for the body to be healthy. The consumption of vitamin "C" is of particularly importance in that regard. We all know that when we take and maintain enough vitamin C in the immune system-it minimizes the chances of getting and/or being sick with a cold or contracting the flu. That being said, it is vitally important to take vitamin C in spades during the winter season. The benefits derived: vitamin C, not only, fortify the immune system, but it also help to repair the body tissues, and it create the opportunity to help one to heal better and much faster.

The question becomes, well just how much vitamin C should I take daily?. Good, I am glad you asked, according to the National Institute of Health, women between 19 years and older should consume 75 mg per day, men dosage or consumption should be, at least, 90 mg per day. Hold on, I know what you are thinking, most supplement are from 250, 500, or 1000 mg per capsule or tablet. Which is essentially too much. And you take too much, there might be a slight chance of making oneself sick, right?. The answer is yes.

There is a solution, and it is eating the right nutritional foods that contains natural vitamin C. We have done the research for you. Per the standards set by the US Dept of Agriculture Nutrient Database, the 8 great foods that are full of vitamin C nutrients are as follows:

1. Orange Juice,a gold std. drink 6-8 oz per day, contain 392 mg

You are set to move forward-in very healthy ways. Therefore, you go forth, prepare, eat, and do so, without any lack of vitamin "C"
The above approach to preparing and eating healthy foods consists of a good healthy mix of fruits, vegetables, and delicious juices. This provides the opportunity for one to create their own selection and mix of fresh , natural vitamins and nutrients.Your body will love you for it-and you will learn to love it too-in-the-end.
