Wisdom is Supreme...
The Lord disciplines those he loves, blessed are the ones who find 'wisdom' and the ones that getteth an  'Understanding'

It is wise and prudent to know, that accurate wisdom yields better and more enduring benefits than mere material things. The result of having wisdom is a quality of life full of tranquility and confidence.

God's Discipline...
Is this an action that He in deed applies?
Yes, but know that discipline is not the same as condemnation. God disciplines His children, but He does not 'condemn' them. Let's be clear, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Please know that discipline has to do with training and growth, and the process of condemnation has to do with punishment and guilt. Be aware that training involves both positive and negative aspects. Also part of the discipline is simply guiding you to follow certain rules and to observe certain behavioral traits and attributes
When you read the trials and tribulations that God's servant Job endured, they were not punishment for sin, and Job emerged from those trials and tribulations, as a better person {see Job 42:3,6
