FRONT OF MIND CONSCIOUSNESS ‘REGARDS’ REST FOR THE BRAIN
When
you think about your brain which of these situations might you focus on and/or
come to mind:
·
A.
Enjoying a good night's sleep
·
B.
Taking a midday nap
·
C.
Reclining on a sofa to watch some mindless tv episodes
Know
that there is a need to take restful moments in our daily sojourn. That being
said, it’s a common misconception to view or to take restful moments as an
entirely passive experience. To take ‘true rest’ is a very important part of
our daily routine of life. The key point is that we must give our brain the
restorative breaks it needs to function at optimal levels
While
adequate sleep is essentially important for good ‘brain health’ many forms of
rest involve activity, not just slumber. The most restorative kind of rest
which recharge the mental and physical batteries most effectively is to be
active rather than passive. According to sleep expert therapists, going for a
long walk or hike or working out can give one more rather than less energy and
leave, and tend to have a person feeling more rejuvenated both physically and
mentally.
The
more one focuses and/or puts the process rest into the cognitive of the ‘front-of-mind-consciousness, with such practice thus you will improve. It can become part and parcel
of the meditation part of the daily routine within the Daniel Fast Lifestyle
