There has been an enormity of studies carried out by The Touch Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine. The process of the outcome revealed that being held through the touch of hugs provided evidence of significant importance for therapy, healing, and mental well-being.
It was further noted by Dr. Virginia Satir, a renowned psychotherapist, working with patients in participation through the advent of ongoing counseling sessions, has caused her to grasp, embrace and proclaim the following narrative utterance of words and comments:
• We as humans needs, at least, 4 hugs anyway to get through the day
• Such shall serve to lessen the challenges you may face along the way
• If by chance you experience 8 hugs per day this will speak volumes for routine maintenance and care
• However, If by happenstance you are able to garner 12 hugs, such shall contribute mightily to get through an arduous day and shall serve to create healthy and positive growth and development
That being said, whether these amounts of hugs are exacting or not, there is a great deal of scientific evidence available which is indicative of the therapeutic value of the physical touch of hugs
Consider the action to cuddle and cradle a baby, the enjoyment it brings to this small child, dancing with a partner, touching, holding, and embracing another person, the exercise of instrumental support and being present to others, holding a hand, touching shoulder-such activities provides thrice comfort, calmness, and relaxation.
• Hugs Cultivate Patience, it’s one of the easiest ways to show appreciation and acknowledgment toward another
• Hugs Can Serve to Communicate sometimes without saying a word; It is through these types of Hug's positive body language expressing oneself through non-verbal ways and methods to others
• Hugs Cultivate positive Self-Esteem, especially in infants and small children they tend to recognize their parents by the simply initial touch. The cuddles kids received from parents while growing up remain an imprint in their lives throughout growth, development, and maturity. This both provides and allows the proclivities for the ability to appreciate and embrace self-love and love for others
While we’re traveling on the Path of The Journey. Sometimes it has the appearance of a vast wilderness. Such encounters of detours, distractions, disruptions, twists and turns, trials and tribulations, and even longsuffering. But just so you know, there is a small still voice that serves as a reminder, and it conveys to us-“Be Not Dismayed “ Due to the touch and feel of the Hugs which has the finite ability to provide significant impact and imprint on each and every life we shall persevere and overcome. This ushers in and allows for a recall to reach up and out out of the window of despair to grasp and focus on Hope, to discover ways to Cope, and exercise Forgiveness...The ultimate connection to the Joy of Healing.
Healing from stress, anxiety, and the feelings and emotions of Depression. Hold on! there is a rescuer-It is the touches of the embracing hugs that shall bring significant importance to the therapy and healing. Such action of activities shall make and create the manifestation to Promote Physical, and Mental Well Being to Stay and BE HEALTHY.
