IT IS IMPERATIVE TO DEVELOP ‘FAITH MUSCLES’ FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
I recently collaborated with a fellow blogger {Susan Gregory}, a Life Coach, Author, and Keynote Speaker. After which she sent me one of her prior blogs. It was an embellishment about one of Jesus' lamented utterances, "Oh Yea of Little Faith". Upon reading it I was both struck and touched by it and her testimony about Really Getting to learn how to "Trust God". She even shared her carefully researched exegesis in regards to a real understanding of the insights and intel concerning "Faith Muscles".
I am compelled to share an excerpt with a bit of editing and critical writing to integrate my shaping and structuring of ideas
I'll begin with one of my favorite encouragement sayings that I always share with others during mentoring, coaching, counseling, and/or other ministry situations: " Practice the Presence of the Lord." When you do, you consecrate yourself to the Lord through extended Prayer and Fasting, and I might add, "exercise the closeness of God through meditation."
If you want to make sure You Do Not Miss God's Blessings; then it is imperative to "Practice His Presence", and then Listen for his instructions; to get an absolute understanding of His Will, His Ways, His Plans, His Provision, and Protection, and everything else He intends-All For His Glory.
I think we can all agree that a problem we as people have; is we don't always 'Get It'. Even though we profess to be believers in a source of a Higher Power of Authority. That being said, We're the same as those who Jesus lamented and/or proclaimed utterances about. When he said these words, "Oh, Yea of Little Faith"
However, I hasten to add, the utterance proclamation of 'Little Faith". "Doesn't mean small in amount, as we know it". Just know that the Bible tells us we are given the same measure of faith. But we must do something with it, it is required that we take, make, or exercise some action. Which shall be a manifestation of growth and development for freedom and liberation
Put another way, our measure of faith can be compared to muscles of the human body. If you look at two people, as they stand side-by-side they both basically have the same capacity of muscles in their bodies. The difference may be that one of them might work and/or exercise more to develop muscle mass. In order to get larger and stronger couple with endurance and stamina. While the other person may make an effort to start but quickly stops. Thereby, no work, nor any exercising to develop muscle mass; which will cause them to have "Muscle Atrophy"-meaning, flab body appearance, no muscle expansion or growth; remaining in a smaller weakening state of being.
For Sure You Plan Your & Work Your Plan
The same example can be attributed to our faith which is very similar to the muscles of the human body. The more we focus on and exercise our faith the stronger it will get. Lending itself to having more assurance to depend on God's Truth, His Character, His Nature, and His goodness to his Glory!
Don’t wait to only Put Your Trust In After hitting rock bottom
A profound turning point in life is when you realize you have:
~Only One God To Turn To
~Only One God to Rely on
~Only One God to Help You
HE WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO AMASS AND DEVELOP YOUR "FAITH MUSCLES"
But you take action such as to Praise Him-He shall see you through...Lift you up out of darkness unto the marvelous light
In Conclusion, know That: God Is.. "I AM", He Could be; He Would be; All That You Ever Need in Any Crisis Situation or Circumstances of Life
Thus You No Longer Need to Consider, "Oh, Yea Of Little Faith" any more...
Your Focus has Changed are becoming stronger, with new growth of "Faith Muscles" Panoplied with the assurances of a Joy-Filled Life of great expectancy from God..Amen
